Menchaca PTA volunteers work tirelessly behind the scenes to support Menchaca students, families, staff, and our community, but you might not guess it, because we don’t take ourselves too seriously and truly enjoy helping! You can become a PTA member and volunteer too!

In order to volunteer on campus during school hours, all volunteers must create an AISD Voly account and have a background check on file.
It only takes a few minutes to complete, and you will get a confirmation email when your background check clears. Then you're ready to help any time!
What does Menchaca PTA do?

Provide on-campus field trips: Lucas Miller, The Singing Zoologist, & The YUCK Show!

Host Free Family Events: Hispanic Heritage Movie Night, Halloween Bash, Friendship Dance, and we have one more at the end of this school year!

Provide individual teacher grants and grade-level grants

Campus beautification projects: painted picnic tables, working on plans for murals, outdoor shade for Pre-K playground, and free outdoor libraries for kids to enjoy during recess!

Celebrate our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week

Support our Menchaca staff with school initiatives and events

Host Annual Mustang Round Up Carnival: April 11th, 2026, 12- 4 pm

Sponsored Menchaca community food drive
